Yeah, I know I have been mysteriously absent from this board for a while now. My apologies Brian, it was not intentional. Personal issues have kept me quite preoccupied. Anyway to make a long story short, I have opened up my own toy store in Bedford. Our grand opening is on May 8th and we have a big kick-off planned. Check out my websight for details:

I hope some of you guys can make it down.

    Hi everyone.

Just a reminder about Simply Groovy Toys & Collectibles grand opening in Bedford, IN this Saturday, May 8th at noon. :)

a star wars toy story ...

Long, long time ago in a galaxy far,far away.

A future bounty hunter hunts the infamous Tuskin Raider know as DZ-437. The bounty hunter knows this Tuskin Raider from the Krayt Clan is real tricky and has missed several fanclub meetings. In order for this bounty hunter to gain respect amongst the other bounty hunters he must capture DZ-437.

The bounty hunter sees his victim. He jumps out and says, "you're under Imperial arrest!" At the same time the DZ-437 screams, "WHAAARRUUU WRHUU WHRUU." Now the bounty hunter has DZ-437 attention and he let's DZ go with a warning.

The future bounty hunter plays a trick by saying,

"a special reminder to all Star Wars fans. Come to the grand opening of Simply Groovy Toys & Collectibles in Bedford, IN this Saturday, May 8th at noon. :D

Mission Report: May 8th Simply Groovy Toys Grand Opening

Even the most remote of locations occasionally need to be reminded that they are safely within the protectorate of The Empire. Following the weekends activities I would say that the community of Bedford, Indiana rests comfortably knowing they are in the embrace of their Emperor.

As the day began, food and drinks were made available to all with a familiar John Williams score playing lightly in the background. The temperature of the day rising with every triumphant musical score.

Several local government dignitaries including Mayor Joe Klumpp and City Councilman Pat Robbins were on hand accompanied by Adele Bowden-Purlee from the Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce. The Emperor dispatched several key troopers from the 501st Legion's Bloodfin Garrison to oversee the proceedings.

With all key members in position, a ribbon cutting with the Mayor made for the official opening of this fully armed and operational toy store.A photo opportunity followed so that civilians could immortalize the moment and bask in the glory of The Empire.

The events of the day concluded with the troopers escorting kids and family to the local skating rink for the annual celebration of the birth of my daughter.

On behalf of Simply Groovy Toys I want to thank the command staff of Bloodfin Garrison for including us on the schedule. And a salute to TK-3241, BH-7718, TB-1544, and TI-9362 for braving 90+ degree weather, screaming children, and rabid fanboys. I owe you guys!!!

I have picures posted on my personal page at www.simplygroovytoys.com

It looks great Steve. I wish I didn't have to work at Kroger.

:) Though I was in Bedford for Mother's day and I saw the front of Simply Groovy Toys & Collectibles store.

Those 2 Attack of the Clones posters in the window were awesome.

    Congratulations Steve.

p.s. Please keep in touch with everyone at the Hoosier Alliance. :) Also you can pm me anytime. Thanks.
