Yeh, that's a possibilty but I think we wanted a specific meeting for just us Victorians from the boards... but I don't know, see what every one else says.

 

Why?

Everyone can meet and talk at Skyforce...get cheap food and drinks. Buy some collectables (if you like) and watch a few videos as well.

No preasure....crowds of fellow fans to talk to....and plenty of places to hide when the war breaks out.

 

We might be able to do both Damir... We'll have to wait and see what everyone else is doing.

 

I agree we should try and do both. Everyone, I urge you to come to the next SkyForce. LordVaderFF does us the favour of being our city rep and allowing this forum to exist, so let's support him and skyforce and get down there to meet!

I also heartily endorse Skyforce and hope that as many people as possible make it (I sadly won't be, due to exams), as you're bound to meet plenty of fellow enthusiasts. But the occasional meeting of Skyforce can be supplemented by a social gathering of our own. I point to (gasp) FFNSW as an example: whilst Fan Force and Skyforce coexist peacefully there, they are two separate entities and have different meets. Just because Skyforce exists doesn't mean we can't have our own meet, right? I would think the more chances to get out into the real world, the better.

 

Too bad you won't be there Hawk and if everyone that said will show up, shows up... it will be great!

Oh yeh, we should then also have the TTT viewing just for us VicFFers early next year... that way no one can make up an exuse of not coming because of school!

Wow, the meet's this Saturday...I'm excited.

 

Well, I'll try, but I was intending to be busy that day (nudge nudge, wink wink). I might also be a little out of the weather from the night before, I'm deliberating over whether I should attend a friend's formal afterparty down in sunny Mt Eliza. Considering it starts at about midnight, I might be just a little tired after it, so it'll probably end up being one or the other. Anyway, no promises about Skyforce, but I'll see what I can do.
