Lg.Is, NY A Website About Katie Is Up And Running!

Dion of the 501st, posted a thread in MEPA's forum containing the following information about Katie's Website:

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that there is now a Website up for collections for Katie and the Johnson Family.

The website addy is www.forKatie.org

At the site you can find news on her condition, as well as the various collections going on, and you can even eventually donate directly to the site.

Please spread the word about this site! Put it in your signature lines (much like I have), put it in emails, and posts, spread it to different Fanforce Forums, different Fandom forums... just spread it!

The site is run by Jay Thompson, a good friend of Al's. Jay is also the documentarian doing the filming for "Heart of an Empire - The Fighting 501st."

Katie has a long fight ahead of hear, and it's up to us to be there for her, and cheer for her every SINGLE step of the way!

While it is not mandatory to donate any money, at our next meeting members who wish to donate anything may chip in and pay for the shipping of the items Chris got. Also at the meeting we may be discussing what else we can do to help.

Above all please remember to keep Katie in your thoughts. Even if you do not know Albin and his family, any support they receive is appreciated.

Thanks to everyone that is taking part in this. Please remember to spread the word. I'd love to personaly take it to each and every message board/forum I am a part of, but that would take the better part of a whole day! LOL

So please, copy the post to your fanforce group, your garrison, or your club. This website will be the focus point for Katie. All news, dontations, and charity events will be posted here.

On that note, if you WANT to do a charity event for Katie, then please by all means let the folks at www.forKatie.org know and they will put that up there as well!

Lets all work together on this cause folks... lets all put our silly little differences behind, because when you think about it, they don't amount to a hill of beans compared what this brave little girl has to face!

For once lets see Fandom UNITED towards a good cause!
