ROGUE ONE IS UPON US!!!

 

Rogue One is incredible! I will be seeing this film several more times in the theater.

 

Well, I'm officially done with Fall semester 2016. Seven down, one to go, and then... graduation.

Unfortunately, my jank finals schedule means I can't see Rogue One until Monday night. I'd see it Sunday, but my brother has a final the next morning and I refuse to see the movie without him. On the plus side, partying tonight as a prelude to the nine hour drive back home tomorrow.

 

I'll come out with my official review once PymParticles has seen it but for now here's my revised rankings:

I'm surprised you like RO less than TFA!

Never. It'll always be episodes 3-6 to me.
26 + 22 + 21 + 25 + 4 mins of credits = 98 mins

 

It's because they only had a few characters (Vader, Bail) from the GL movies. Still great though!

Just got back from first viewing of Rogue One. Loved it.
No complaints.

 

I also saw RO today and loved it.

No complaints from me either.

 

I can't remember being this happy to see the return of the 70s moustache.

By the way, what did everyone think of the Blade Runner 2049 and Alien: Covenant trailers? The former really impressed me, which is surprising given how hesitant I've been towards the movie, but the latter rubbed me wrong in so many ways.

 

Blade Runner, if nothing else, looks visually beautiful. Alien: Covenant has some really nice environmental shots, but the ship interior designs look shockingly uninspired, and the shower scene just screamed "B-movie schlock to me" in a way the first two films and even Prometheus, as mixed as I feel about that film, avoided for me.

 

Dammit. I don't even know what to say. Except maybe thank you....nope still doesn't feel like enough..
