Aayla Secura costume....the start of a very long journey!

Much to my husband's dismay I've started on an Aayla Secura costume.
I've started with the headgear and lekku. I am not going to use latex, I'm going with cloth. Last night I finished the leather headgear and almost got finished with the prototype lekkus. I'm also going "blue-er" than Aayla,because that's the color of the fabric I found.
I am going to take some preliminary pictures tonight and hopefully post them tomorrow, as I'd like to get feedback from you all. I'm having a little trouble with the top of the lekkus, as I made them in 2 separate pieces and now need to join them up.
Something just doesn't look "right" to me when I put them on and I don't know if it's something with the lekkus themselves or just me not used to seeing myself with them on my head!

sounds cool! Aayla is one of my favorite characters of the Old Jedi Order. Look forward to seeing it.
