Aaylaa Costume Help (*SPOILERS for Episode III.... not much but...)

I got bitten by the Costume bug last year and now I've got my heart set on becoming Aayla Secura for both Supanova 2005 in Brisbane on the 9th of April and the Star Wars Premiere.

I just need some help with the head tails.

I was thinking of three pairs of 40denier of Aqua blue Stockings all inside each other and stuffing them and sewing to attch them to my headpiece (Vinyl with the ear thingys made out of Foam Rubber cones lacqueared with Aquablue nail polish). The tails will be covered with criscross Brown Vinyl like in both AOTC and ROTS.

My concern is that the headtails will look WAY too weird and the stuffing will shift making them look weird

Does anyone have any Suggestions for Twi'Lek head pieces?
