    Aayla is a EU character that was added into AOTC by GL right?

    What was here first appearence in the Star Wars universe?

    Republic #19, which is the first issue of Twilight.

    Don't waste your time though, just pick up the Twilight trade, it's more than worth it. Darkness too.

    Ostrander/Duursema stuff is spun gold.

    If you want the first chronological appearance, check out the flashback in Rite of Passage.

    You'll notice she looks different in Twilight, Darkness and Stark Hyperspace War. That's all before Amy Allen was cast for the part.

    She also appears in both volumes of the Clone Wars cartoon.
