Abolisher/Neutralizer-418 Does it exist???

On another side i discovered the following description of an imperial ship:

Built on the basic Sienar Fleet Systems heavy cruiser hull, the Abolisher or "Neutralizer 418" works in much the same way as the Interdictor Class Cruiser. Instead of pulling ships from hyperspace and trapping them like the Interdictor, the Abolisher produces tiny spheres of hyper-energy that are shot out into an area of space.

When ships traveling through hyperspace cross the equivalent area of realspace, they come in contact with the hyper-energy spheres. These spheres overwhelm the blocking capacity of the ship's shields and shred the craft. These hyper-energy spheres do not affect ships in realspace, but if a ship enters a field of spheres and then jumps to lightspeed it comes in contact with the deadly pulses.


Now i have heard of hyperspacepulse-projektors before, but never, that they work this way and that there exists a ship that uses them.

So does such a ship exist or is it fan-made???

Still larger and more powerful than most enemy vessels the Harbingers are often sent in when an Imperial or Nemesis class Star Destroyer cannot be spared. Fast and well armed the Harbinger is a strong deterrent to pirates and rebel terrorists alike.

 

It might be the ship seen in The Phantom Affair, that was sucked into a wormhole.
