Absence of Female Villain

    I think some of the responses in this thread perfectly illustrate one of the major reasons there was no female villain or prominent female Jedi in the films. :rolleyes:

    If you can accept an Alderaanian princess and a former Queen, who can get down and dirty with a blaster, I don't see why a capable villain is that much of a stretch. In fact, KOTOR II proved that it's possible to have an intriguing, complex, intelligent female villain (if you consider her as such) in the GFFA.

    While I would've loved to have seen one somewhere in the saga, I think the Rule of Two really put a damper on having more of a variety. Which is why I think the far greater crime is no decent role for a female Jedi.

    I don't really think it need a female villain at all. I mean it's not like it would have changed the story. Unless they did in away that the female villain and Anakin were both in love or something like that. But really one was not needed at all.
