At least that one has a reasonable chance of being resolved in November.
It's Dance. I know because I was one of the ones who got her to keep reading it by promising that the thing didn't happen to the character that happened but totally won't last anyway so really it doesn't count.
Well that clears it all up.
LOL! Yeah. I remember watching that episode thinking "Yay! They made it to Earth," then thinking, "wait minuet, there's still ten more episodes."
I dunno, the ending seemed pretty straightforward.
And technically we never lied!
not the best show ever or anything, but the cliffhanger ending of the sarah connor chronicles was the worst.
The whole show was terrible, which is a shame, because Lena Heady made a really good Sarah Connor.
i enjoyed it in a guilty pleasure sort of way.
I don't really consider it an ending though, esp. since there's a good possibility that there won't be a sequel. Anything that makes you question the fate of humanity or say "Well what then?" is a pretty big cliffhanger. Knowing that you probably won't get an answer.
It's still a huge point of apprehension, but at least we're able to see how things are trending now.
ReBoot season 4.
KATE WE NEED TO GO BAAAAAACK
Probably not the best/worst cliffhanger ever, but it frustrates me that Space Above and Beyond was cancelled on a cliffhanger just when it was turning into a decent show.
Also not a cliffhanger, but I absolutely hated how Quantum Leap ended. It was like a huge middle finger to its audience.
I'd say that does count as a cliffhanger, because while Sam never makes it home, you never actually find out what happened to him either.
Yeah that ending completely ****ed with the timeline of the movies and made absolutely no sense.
You saw the pilot, right? That by itself fraks with the timeline of the movies, since it jumps over T3.
You could actually make the argument that T3 ***ed with the timeline of T1, T2 and TSCC since T3 wasn't even in production yet when the first season of the show was getting underway.
Gotta go with KotOR 2's ending.
The Sarah Connor Chronicles was released four years after Rise of the Machines. Its TSCC that screws over the Terminator canon, not ROTM. TSCC wasn't even concieved of as an idea until 2005.
It's a franchise based on time travel.
The Force Unleashed 2's ending...
horrible cliffhanger in more ways than one
(Vader being captured by the rebels, and taken to their secret base on Dantooine)
Also, Spider-Man the Animated Series (1990's)
Why couldn't it have ended with him finding the real Mary Jane?
And even if he did... awkward. He's still a widower, since he was married to the clone, and she died. Which the real MJ wouldn't remember.
There's nothing that sucks quite like a show that leaves you with a cliffhanger during it's season finale... and then the show gets cancelled. I want some closure to My Name Is Earl and The Sarah Connor Chronicles!
The ending of the season of Heroes - crisis has been averted, but Sylar has slipped away and now Hiro is stuck in historical Japan. What happened?!?!?!
(rumours of there being a subsequent 3 seasons are merely the ravings of madmen )
I'm one of the few that thought that even season 1 of Heroes was god-awful unwatchable garbage....which I happened to watch anyway.
