    What academy awards have the previous Star Wars movies won (The only thing I can remember is Darth Maul winning best villian). What awards do you think Episode II will win considering Spider-Man, Harry Potter 2 and Lord Of The Rings 2 coming out this year?

    Darth Maul never won best villain. The academy for best villian does not even exist. You're obviously thinking of the MTV movie awards.

    Corey, have you ever seen the Academy Awards?

    First off, Episode 2 won't win anything other than maybe sound, music, or special effects.

    The same goes for LOTR2, HP2 and Spiderman.

    Blockbusters never win big at the Oscars (Well, except Titanic). The Oscars are just awards MAINLY for best DRAMA movies. Although EP2 is going to have the lovey dovey thing to it, it isn't going to win much due to the crappy direction the academy has taken.

    So don't expect either EP2, HP2, LOTR2, or Spiderman to win any big awards next spring.
