And not creepy at all.
Good book, and hello.
OH MY GOD GET ME TO SDCC
Oh My God is right
WHAT WHAT WHAT A MONEY BIN!?!?!
Yes, but no diving? Where's the fun in that?
Ducktales taught us that gold coins have the strange property of becoming a liquid when they hit critical numbers and are placed in a bin. Unfortunately, attempting to replicate the aquabatitics of Scrooge in real life is counter-indicated due to the fact that real coins are a solid, not a liquid. And rather dense solids at that.
Please tell me they had a Sea Duck cockpit to take pictures in too.
So, do we have an official thread for ComicCon information pertaining to Star Wars? Today should have some big annoucements, right?
Yeah we should probably get one set up as a catchall for major information. On my phone atm, so I won't be able to post it.
Now we just need for there to be lots of new and exciting information at SDCC to fill up the thread...oh.
Del Rey decided that telling us nothing was the way to go.
My hopes were dashed when I came home to today to find a new 5 page thread of... um....
...what happened in that thread again? It was like driving on a flat road for miles and miles, and suddenly you think you see something up ahead but alas, it was just a mirage.
Look at it this way--we still have the money bin.
"We'll always have Duckberg"
There's always money in the banana stand.
Clever movie/TV reference.
Started reading the Wraith Squadron books again, after reading them out of order/being sidetracked. I immensely regret not having read them before now.
I was thinking of reading those after I finish the NJO and the Kenobi book that comes out next month.
Every time I see a new video or thing from SDCC, I hate myself for not being there. Today's video:
I have some friends there as well - I heard ^this^ was awesome.
Before I go see Pacific Rim, I decided to take a look at Pan's Labyrinth. Such a brilliant film. I don't expect the two films to have anything in common tonally, of course.
Well.... yeah actually they really do not, though visuals are awesome in both.
HER ROYAL HIGHNESS THE DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE WAS ADMITTED TO THE HOSPITAL ABOUT THREE HOURS AGO -- JUST ANNOUNCED ABOUT AN HOUR AND A HALF AGO -- AND IS IN THE EARLY STAGES OF LABOR.
