acklay beast figure

I was looking at the acklay beast saga figure. According to Hasbro's website the figure comes with removable guts. Why would you sell a toy that comes with guts that a child would play with.

 

Uh, just so I don't have to start a new thread on this, shouldn't this thing be out already? I have yet to see it.

 

They have been cluttering the shelves at my Wal Mart since early this past summer. I'm getting one for Christmas.

As for the guts, I think most kids would find it "cool".

But seriously, I've look all over the place and can't find it.

 

I found a few at a Walmart a few months back and bought 1 for me and 1 for a friend. That weekend I saw at least 8 more at other Walmarts but havent seen it since

 

Question: Is this a Wal-Mart exclusive?

(If so, that's probably why I haven't seen it at all the other stores I've been looking at! [face_shocked] )

 

The distribution of the Acklay has been haphazard at best... I only once ever got to see it in a store shelf...

As for the guts, hey, why not? The Tauntaun should have come with guts, too...

P.S. No, it's not supposed to be an exclusive... though for some reason WM seems to have got most of them, I think.

 

Have you ever noticed that Taun-Taun guts look strangly like tapioca pudding?

I have never seen the Acklay once in the stores, and I go to at least two per week. I have seen the Reek on occassion, and have seen the Nexu everywhere.

 

They had the Acklay at my target like 2 months ago, but only for a couple weeks. I fortunately found mine back in July while on a family vacation in Montana. At some random store I did not recognize the name of. I was stunned and immeadiately bought it. it's one of my favorites.

Anyways, my point being, I have seen it at two stores other than wallmart.

 

Saw the Acklay at TRU twice, Bought it the 1st time Saw another the same week
Have not seen it since, Anywhere!

 

I bought mine A LONG time ago. Mid-summer I think. Rarely do I see one anymore.

 

It's not a Wal-Mart exclusive, I've seen it a few times at TRU and we don't have Wal-Marts in UK!!!

 

I too never saw it in any store. I got mine at at Comic Con in October.

 

Same here as it is with saber_holder, I see these thins all the time at every WalMart I go to. Actually, since we have so many and no one seems to be buying them I decided to wait on getting one figuring that they'll go on sale/clearance soon.

 

I've seen it at Target, Wal-Mart and Toys-r-us. I got it on sale for 9.99 at Target in the summer.

Crap. I never saw them in the summer, so I assumed they simply hadn't gotten here yet.

Now you tell me they might be gone forever!

 

I just got mine off ebay. NEver saw it in stores once.

 

They were shelf warmers at our TRU. I picked on up last week for 9.99.

 

Here in Oz thoes things are literally stacked to the ceiling in some stores,
Though the only time I saw it in Target there was only one and it was on Sale for half price, So that is when I finally bought it a couple of months ago.

 

I hunted for 2 weeks, I finaly caved in and ordered it of the net. a few days latter I find Wal Mart is full of the things. I buy one there. The one of the net came about a week later.

 

i got my acklay from toys R us online...

as for the guts...I'd rather of had it containing a sound thing than guts, since it'd last longer (batteries are replaceable, guts aren't)

 

I'd rather it came with the ability to stand up.
