thought i'd make a new post, ACME's products are increasing in popularity and all their character keys have increased in value except mace. they have the darth sidious exclusive for SDCC this weekend, and a new one goes on sale 7/19.

nice products, they just never did it for me.

i think they are a lot nicer in person. and that every one so far has at least tripled in value (mace just hasnt yet for whatever reason) its nice to have some things that arent worth half what you paid

sidious SDCC exclusive - already in the 70's with 3 days left

mace is the only one that hasnt done well, but once its sold out everywhere i'm sure all the newer collectors will drive the price up as well.

 

Have all the others started out at $25.00? Seems strange to me that the website would jack up the prices as they go.

 

except the 2 new ones sidious and anakin they've all been 25. its just like gentle giant bumping their mini busts from 50 to 55.

 

am i blind or can i not find these keys? I see Mace but I don't see the anakin or Sidious ones. I did see one Anakin for like $200.00

 

that anakin isnt the character key though.

its hard to find most even on ebay, which is about the only way once they sell out.

 

Damn the General looks pretty cool. Wish I had ponied up the whole $25 now

Well that makes me cry. Most I've been able to pull on anything SW is double for the CW Gunship.

 

It's always the things that you don't buy that gather the most value later. Or at least that is the way it always seems to be for me.

 

Watch out for those ACME products!

 

Yeah, I think of the Roadrunner when I see the ACME name. (ACME = A Company Making Everything).

Well enjoy it man. If it was 30 or 40 I might consider that Jedi piece, but I can't justify $90 for that.

The anakin character key is 30. which is what goes on sale tonight.

 

Oh, okay I thought you were talking about the Jedi piece. The Anakin key does look pretty cool it would work well if I had an Obi-Wan to go with it.

But, based on what you said regarding pricing I might pick it up just to have something to hang on to I'm bad I know, I'm sorry!

EDIT: my god man I'm so out of sorts! guess I can order Mace and see what happens. The green just looks so dang ugly.

 

Phew, got the Anakin piece ordered. It was touch and got there for awhile. 5pm PST put me smack in the middle of Superman Returns but I was able to steal away for a minute to order.
