Spring, MO Action Figure News

I thought it might be nice to have a spot where we, for those of us who collect, can post our latest finds.
Info such as store location, how many were left, that sort of thing.

I know scaplers are bad on this side of the river and some limited editions show up for maybe a day or two tops.

Even those that don't collect could maybe swing thru the toy aisle when their out ( you know you do it anyway!!) and let us know what's out there.

Case in point - I picked up Cantina Scene 1 at the K-Mart in Fairview Heights,IL., The one with Wuher, the Dr. and the Kit-Kat-Mantis guy(can't remember how to spell it, so that's what I'm calling him) they still had 3 left. I would have grabbed another, but I only had money for one. It was $21-$23 plus tax.

 

OOOOO! I've never seen that one ANYWHERE (except in magazines )! I'm off to Kmart...

 

I saw that at KMarts over my way. I'm too cheap to grab it though. Ken if you want one let me know.

I found the whole first two waves of the VOTC and most of the OTC. TRU and Target has a lot of both.

This thread is an awesome idea Tim, thanks!! We've been needing it for a while. We ought to put our wishlists on here too, that way if someone sees something we can grab it for one another. Trade more that way.

I got my last few figures from Mid Rivers Mall in St. Charles.

In a store named Pop Culture, I think thats the name of it.

They have a small room just for STARWARS stuff.

 

BOWK, that store rocks! A little pricey but they have a lot. Mid-Rivers is always good to look for toys. The TRU out there usually has new stuff as does the Target off of 70.

There's a place called the Neutral Zone too, over that way somewhere. Lots of older rare stuff. They have really zany hours though.

 

The ones I'm REALLY needing are Shaak Ti, Coleman Trebor, J'Quille, Tanus Spijeck, and the Aayla Secura Unleashed! If anyone sees any of these and grabs them for me, well, I'll love you!!!!!

 

Seen and have them all Muwahahhahaha!!!!

 

One item I'm really worried about missing out on is the Target exclusive Slave I with Boba Fett. I've seen the pics on the web and I know they're starting to hit the stores. This thing looks awesome!!

I have to have one of these!!!!! If anyone spots it, please post ASAP!!!

 

Should we pick it up too? Things like usually go before you can get back there you know?

Dajuan - Did you find VOTC Lando and C-3PO? I haven't seen them anywhere yet.

 

I have all 8 VOTC figures. I haven't seen either of them again though.

Found Lobot for the OTC and most of the galactic heroes.

Got miniatures like crazy. I still want Leia though.

As of 5 minutes ago I have played it. Really fun, I look forward to playing more against other people. The rules are pretty easy to follow as well. LOVE THIS GAME! Spent waaaaay to much on it though.

 

The Toys R Us here (near Kirkwood, off of 44 and Lindberg), has the VOTC characters. I just picked up C-3PO and ghosty Obi... there were so many... It was hard to leave any of them...

Yeah, I picked up a couple boxes of the mini game today, its the d20 rpg, with out the rp. Dice rolling, same everything, just pre-made characters. A couple of my friends have spent over $100 on them so far in an effort to get a Fett, I got him in my first box, they were none too happy.

 

Grrrrrrrrr you stink! Got a Leia you'd like to trade/sell?

 

Oh man, I wish I had her.

I was in Waldenbooks at the Crestwood Mall and they have the miniatures there (of all places). What fun they look to be!

 

All but one pack of mine I found at Walden's. Got near 100 now, still no Leia or Fett.

 

I've got the Star Wars Leia, but not Slave Leia.
