Umm, I don't know about swapping, but I will be bringing mine.

 

I just have to remember to grab them. I have a couple figs I need and a couple extra rare/very rares.

 

Note to self, crazy collectors will be there, leave Mr. Fett at home.

The newest figures Ive seen is the Fisher Price sets at Walmart about a week ago. I had to put them in layaway for my five year old. I still looking for the third wave of the trilogy plastic case series.

 

I got the rest of the Heroes and the VOTC at K-Mart and TRU. I've seen the VOTC a lot lately.

For anybody interested - I know some of you are coming to the good side of the river on Sat. and the Toys R Us over here in Fairview Heights is selling the new "exclusive" silver Darth Vader for $9.95.

You're supposed to get it free with a twenty dollar purchase. But they're just selling it outright, I read on the main page that some other TRU's were doing this and sure enough, so is mine.

(Not mine as in "I own it", but mine as in "the closest one to me")

I was able to get the Silver Darth Vader.I really like this figure.

 

Does anyone know where I can find a Darth Maul, Anakin, or Padme Unleashed figure? My fencing instructor is collecting them and he can't find those three. Those are the ones I remember him telling me he didn't have...

 

Ebay JCF, that's the only place I can find them anymore until they re-release them.

 

I'll keep my eyes peeled for you JCF, but I haven't been getting out to the stores/shows like I want too. Lots going on and not enough expendable cash.

Did receive my Sandcrawler with jawas and droid today, though. Sweet piece, I forgot I ordered it!!!

 

Ahhhh!!! I hate it. I saw one OTC Slave I at the newer Target out at Lindberg & 55, but the box was all dinged up.

I did grab the TRU Y-Wing and a silver Darth Vader the weekend before last.

None of the stores up here in North County get much anymore. Either that or it's just that I'm not getting out at the right times.

For me, the hunt is just as important as the kill itself. There's the searching...the anticipation as you reach the toy department...the rush when it's there, in good clean package. And then it's mine, all mine!! Sorry, little carried away there.

'Sides it gives me a reason to get away from the insanity that is my home on my days off.

Does anybody have a few of the Mon Calamari Mercenaries just laying around? It's a common figure.

I've been doing a little customizing on these and turning them into little Admiral Ackbars. They turned out quite nice.

Here's the offer - if you've got two spares, give 'em to me and I'll return one to you as an Ackbar.
