You wouldn't believe how much blu tac I go through when i display them just to keep them upright. We need stands, they should come with the figure, it would only cost them an extra 1c to make.

Maybe a petition to get commtech or similar reintroduced.

Also i prefer when they have more information about the character on the back of the card rather then a separate file.

    I have a dream:

that each figure will come with a blaster and a holster to house it, and with that figure there shall be a grand backing card.
but that shall not be all, There shall be a plastic peg inserted within that card, which prodrudes from a punch out character file which doubles as an action figure stand.

    one day...

I'd just be happy if they went back to the old POTF2 card format and instead of info files or flash back thingies each figures comes with it's own stand.
I do also think the slides have been their best accessory to date.

Just popped in and noticed you guys were talking about action figure stands.

SWNZ, I used to go through a lot of blu tac aswell.

I then progressed to 'blu tacing' them to card board. This made dusting and moving them around much easier. The trick is to choose the right cardboard. corrigated is good because it keeps its shape when cut into small rectangles.

Now I buy Action Stands(Black plastic disks with pegs in them) which you can order through most comic shops. But it gets expensive after a while. Its worth it though because it looks pretty good.

There are two types of Action Stands. Old School and New School. The Old School stand also fit McFarlane Figures. I wouldn't be able to get my Ash figure to stand without them. But you have to use two stands for each figure. Because they're so damn big.

Stands cost money and it adds up over a while

I think the slides are a cool link between the film and figures esp with some of the minor characters.

Think you are right with the old POTF2 cards more information

Do you guys remember the 95 'steroid' version action figures? I was comparing the 95 Vader to the Dagobah Vader and having a laugh.

Those old "Pumping Iron" figures NEARLY put me off collecting altogether - luckily they changed them pretty quickly.

maybe its the one in the movie that goes "Doh!"

I've just found out theres a split apart battle droid that comes with a playset. I'm trying to work out whether this is the playset that came out at The Warehouse, Theed Hangar I believe. It came with an exclusive Battle droid, I didnt think it was any different to the others so I didnt buy it. any one know?

Thats right i can't figure out why they would make him do that either

As for the break a part battle Droid took the below off the Toyzz.com page.
    Hope this helps Chansplace.

A Theed Hangar Playset Exclusive! Now you can finally build that huge diorama scene full of Battle Droids without spending all of your credits! This Exclusive Break Apart/Magnetized Battle Droid comes packed on a sealed blister and comes complete with blaster and backpack! These are standard sized 3 3/4" figures, but they are not as articulated or as "thick" as regular figures.

Which is the best and worst ship/toy made?

My personal favourites are the A-wing, ISP-6 and AT-AT.

I think they should have made the rebel snowspeeder a bit smaller thou.

did you get the break apart droid from the theed hangar playset?

Yeah the original shuttle looks great, cant wait for them to release a new one.
I'm not a big fan of mini-rigs, and I'm proud that I've never owned one (unledss u count the tri pod laser cannon)most collectors I know have at least one or two tucked away out of sight.

The new palm talkers look funny. wouldnt mind getting hold of one or two. any comments?

Yeah, action figures. Like to talk about them. Just noticed I had all the 3.75" Sandtroopers that Hasbro has ever made.

    1. Sandtrooper Grey (with Dewback)
    2. Sandtrooper White (3D Diorama)
    3. Sandtrooper Orange (POTF2 regular card)
    4. Sandtrooper Grey (POTJ)

Yesterday, I stood them all together and they look like a messed up bunch with the POTJ guy clearly standing out from the rest :D
Anybody here can think of another Sandtrooper I may missed out?

As for mini rig i like some of them
The ISP-6 esp also the desert sail skiff

I have a few of them but some of them i can't work out what they were thinking.
Not sure about the PDT-8 (although i have 1) and the endor forest ranger

As for the sandtrooper know what you mean an interesting bunch
the other one to include is the deluxe crowd control trooper
I personally thinking the best range of imperial trooper thou
I think the one from the cantina scene is the best

Yeah Chansplace got one of the battle driod break apart interesting
two parts plus gun & backpack
no movement in the arms or legs

This might sound really sick, but I'd like to see an 'ESB revelation' Luke, with removal hand. Or let me guess, one already exists?
