a new ponda baba with removable arm would be cool. I wonder if they'd paint blood all over it.

I hope they make an 'electrocution' Luke, to go with the Emperor's Wrath Darth Vader coming out soon. I can't wait for that, when do ya think we'll see it here?

The question is will we get the next wave
Darth/Luke & Han or should we look to get them from overseas.

I wish Hasbro NZ would let us know who is going to stock them.
Luke looks pretty weedy in his x wing gear
KITT your new luke idea would be cool

the luke is a good idea.
in fact, I want Hasbro to consider releasing an emperor that actually gives electric shocks! forget the talking figures, bring out the interactive ones!!

I was just doing some tidying up and sorting out of my newer 3 3/4" figures and found a typo.

In this latest batch of figures, the Ketwol name is spelt with an 'o' throughout the info. booklet, but with an 'a' on the back of the card (underneath the bar code).

I'm not sure if this is a known "official" mistake or if they've fixed it in later reprints, but those interested in collecting Variations might want to check into it.

There's also some differences on a couple of the other newer characters (I haven't checked older ones).

The Sandtrooper figure. On the info. booklet he's called Sandtrooper - Tatooine Patrol, but on the back he's called Sandtrooper - Cantina Showdown - both under the barcode and on the checklist pictures.

The Qui-Gon figure is called Qui-Gon Jinn - Jedi Training Gear in the info. booklet and Qui-Gon Jinn - Jedi Armor on the back of the card.

I've also just noticed that these newest figures dont' have the green "light bar" behind they're names on the front of the info. booklets.

I wonder if that's the new style, or another mistake?? ?[face_plain]

There seems to be a lot of confusion about what the figures are called between the file cards and backing cards
maybe a result of the change from ESP1 & POTF2 packaging to the singlar POTJ packaging.

Question? hope someone can help me.
Will we see the next wave of figures in NZ?
    Who will stock them?

I thought of something great to write here this morning over breakfast but now can't remember it.
    damm!!
i am hoping this will help.

great it has now come to me.
I recently got the ewok on endor playset/complete galaxy thingy.
Side note quite a cool planet thing. My question who is the ewok? I have heard Paploo is this correct? I thought it was strange that hasbro labeled the box plain ewok on endor, you think they would have given him a name.

    nope no name.
I just got told it was a wicket repaint.

I heard they are going pretty cheap lately, brians toys had a case of 4x tatooine/luke and 4x ewok/endor for about $US40.

What I find really lame about the SW action figures is this:

Looking at jp-30's old original figures - hoth luke, besbin han etc - they all look good. The figures of luke, etc, comming out now-a-days are all BUFF muscular looking guys.

You obviously haven't seen the "wrestler" versions that came out when they first started re-issuing figures - they were awful.

    :(

The new luke x wing gives him a better weedy (realistic) look

they are getting better with some of the figures
stormtroopers are a great improvement on the vintage ones.

hmmm, by the time I add postage, it'll be about $60 aussie, $75 NZ. a bit too much for a set of 3 figs.

I've almost given up sending away for stuff, costs too much in shipping unless you get a whole lot of things at once.

The Vader emperors wrath/han death star escape/luke xwing pilot/shmi skywalker wave has apparently hit aussie stores, and with K-mart's re-stocking of SW figures we will probably see them soon.

Toyworlds in the north island will probably stock them as well. there is a chance that the warehouse will bring them in, but dont count on it.

Yeah postage and the exchange rates don't help

Looks like it is time to start the K-Mart runs again

I went to the St Lukes K-Mart (Auckland) today. There were still quite a few of the last release, but no new Star Wars figures.

Hopefully these "left-overs" won't put them off getting the next release. :(
