Ok got my new POTJ Luke over the weekend

We have had the "He-man Luke" in the past

I think the new one should be called "Rat faced Luke" he looks so funny

Bacta Tank is cool
have not filled it with water yet
Now just waiting for my amanaman and Leia

Ok seems i maybe just talking to myself or nobody is interested,

Got FX-7, imperial officer, rebel trooper recently from aussie sorry when will k mart get them

FX-7 is preety cool just have to put him next to luke and the bacta tank now.

The way they have done the rebel trooper legs is interesting but my questions are
1) why no movement in the arms
2) why is the gun so small and so soft a holster would have been nice too

when are they going to stop using that soft plastic for the guns/accessoires Amanaman staff is very floppy

anybody else got these figures yet?
what are your thoughts?

Already reading starwars.com this morning and they mention the up coming ewok TEEBO figure which looks cool. Now he is famous for his axe (hatchet)
they even say "Teebo was the hatchet-wielding warrior whom Artoo-Detoo zapped with an electroshock prod in the Ewok village sequence"

so why does hasbro have hime with a spear?????

No US toys ship with sharp blades (real or simulated) since the recent hijacking of aeroplanes with stanley-knives.

 

rebel trooper arms: he is pose specific he was made for that pose

size of accesorys they r to scale now which is good

plastic for accesorys they cant make them the detailed they r and the size they r with anything else so they have to use that plastic and they r cheap

 

I know that they are now so called to scale but imho the gun is still too small.

i was expecting arms and holster similar to Han Solo bespin capture on the rebel trooper i think that allows for more poses

as ive said before, all figures should have holsters!

Articulation is a funny thing, some new figures have heaps of joints, whereas some are as poseable as the vintage figures.

I guess having fewer joints although it reduces playability, it increases realism? or its just a way for hasbro to cut back on production costs.

anyway I cant wait for the Amanaman. I've given up getting stuff from overseas, so hopefully they'll arrive here soon.

so, now that theres new figures about (apparently, I've only seen one) what does everyone think? I saw the rebel fleet trooper, nothing special. and no force file?
$20 for just a figure. I've also seen the deluxe Amanaman, now thats a nice figure, but I doubt we'll see it in stores.

25th anniversary 2 packs should be out soon too.

Saw the Vader & Ben 2 pack and the Han & Chewie 2 pack in the Newmarket Warehouse for $39.99 each. I assume that's what your talking about (I'm a bit ignorant re: new Action Figures).

Nice figures, but I only buy Star Wars LEGO thesedays...

 

they have all 3 down here the luke and leia one they look scramny and there faces r all funny

 

got down to the warehouse today, there seemed to be a case of them out, 4x Vader and Obi Wan, 1x han and chewie, 1x luke and leia. surely the vader/OB1 set cant be so popular they have to put 4 in a case??

I got the luke and leia set, the Han looks a bit funny. still nice boxes though.

CHANSPLACE HAS MANY MANY MANY FIGURES AND SW STUFF. The entire roof of his bedroom is covered in figures in boxed - drawing pins holding them up.

i have all my vehicals hanging from my roof

 

mate, ACE, Chans has vehicles hanging from his roof. Sitting on his desk. Sitting on his floor. Hanging from the walls. Sitting on his bed side table thingy. Sitting in large glass cabnet etc.

not to mention posters / collectable cups etc

his transformer colleccttion takes up no room what-so-ever. His transformer collection however is... hmmmmmm he had a few... MY BAD. Sowwy I was concentrating on the LOTR and SW stuff.

I do have a transformer that Chans doesn't have though! hahaha

I feel special! I'll take a few pics of it when im back up in the "big smoke" for easter.

 

Ace. I have a cabinet full of G1s, a shelf full of G2s, and a few others lying around.
they only take up a corner of the lounge, but its slowly growing with RiDs...
