Well, I have some bad news. I had some surgery done on tuesday and I'm still heavily medicated. So I can't go out. Sorry all for bailing.

I'll be at the Metrotown Skytrain platform (where the ticket machines are) at around 5:45.

 

I'll try to be there around 6:00ish...but I don't know how well that'll work out(I have class until 5)...but Hopefully I can do that. If not, I'll be there by 6:30, for sure...See y'all tonight.

 

Hey Mike, sorry, I didn't know your schedule was so tight. The good thing is, if you are (or anybody is) a bit late, we have two shows to choose from. I'm still going to shoot for 6pm at the Station Square Starbucks, which shouldn't be a problem for me as long as I hook up with Phill without problems at the Skytrain station. News flash - there's a chance the Ep. III trailer might not be shown before the Incredibles. Apparently some theatres have it and some don't.

A friend of mine (in Florida) went today and got no trailer . She said a bunch of people left the theatre after the trailers were done and didn't bother with the movie!

 

Well I'm going to see the movie, the trailer would be a bonus for me. However, if anyone were so inclined, they could call the theatre or we could ask, before we purchase our tickets, if the trailer is to be shown.

I'd never pay to see a movie just to see the trailer, heck I've seen it already many times, although only on my computer.

We were thrilled the trailer played with our screening, after we'd been told it wasn't going to.

And it was a fun movie too, even though I missed about ten minutes, as my two youngers felt a call of nature and didn't know where the bathroom was. So... I guess I'll be seeing it again.

There were seven people in our group all told. Phill (Master_Irik), Mike (SquallLeonhart), Cassandra (Sister_Sola), three of Cassandra's friends (Allison, Duncan, and Rev), and myself. The SilverCity guy said the trailer would be shown in only one of the two theatres, but couldn't remember which one. But it was shown in our theatre, so that was cool. The actual movie was even cooler, I was impressed. All in all it was a very fun evening as I got to meet a bunch of people I'd never met before, and Mike.
