It's ok to jump on the Jennifer Lawrence bandwagon, it just proves that you like people who are awesome. :)

I like Jennifer Lawrence, but I don't think she's Star Wars material. Don't ask me why. I said DON'T! [face_dunno]

Chiwetel Ejiofor! The Operative is in my top 5 best villains and I think he would be awesome in any role they gave him.

How about having him playing Kyle Katarn?

If Harrison Ford doesn't come back better get Nathan Fillon to do it.

He is such an passionate Actor, and of course he is Aragorn, but let him portray the new Villain. He has such a presence.

Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Billy-Dee Williams, and Tony Daniels will definitely return to reprise their old roles, but only Hamill and Daniels are likely to have significantly big parts in the story. In cameos and very limited minor supporting roles (either in flashbacks or in spirit form) we'll also see Hayden Christensen, Ewan McGregor, Ian McDiarmid, and possibly Nat Portman, Liam Neeson and Sam Jackson as well. We might see Harrison Ford.....but it's a big maybe.

I would like to see Jim Caviezel in any role. I think he's a very talented and overlooked actor.

Is this a JJ Abrams time travel joke?

John Noble aka Walter Bishop in Fringe. This guy has a great face and, in Fringe, a great voice. I can really imagine him playing a mysterious figure, be it an eccentric Jedi mystic or a manipulative scheming Sith a la Sidious. I mean to say, even when he smiles, this actor can, if he wishes, look very sinister.

Interesting point: The spellchecker here queries "Sith". Ha ha.

    Benedict Cucumberpunch[face_tee_hee]

Liam Cunningham(Sir Davos from GOT): Thought he would have made a great Pallaeon

I've heard multiple people say that he's great in "Fringe," but I haven't seen that show... But I thought John Noble was terrible in "Return of the King."

    Michael Fassbender.

    Gary Oldman.

Han/Leia's kids? Unknown actors. I'd rather not see any big names playing them.

Only if he hops on the same treadmill some of you say Mark Hamill needs to get on.

I want to hear Clone Wars voice actors. Heck, it would be neat to see some of them in cameo or small parts. Catherine Taber, Ashley Eckstein, Matt Lanter, Clancy Brown.
Knowing J.J. Abrams is in this, Josh Holloway could work and not be distracting as long as he's not doing Sawyer. Heck I don't want to think about it not knowing anything about characters. I just know whom I don't want to see.

Haven't seen this mentioned but does anyone think Simon Pegg will be in it?

He's a massive OT fan and he's just worked with JJ on both Star Trek movies.

Agreed, especially with the connections I mentioned but who or what the hell would he play? I only ever see him in comedic roles

Well, I've always visioned him as Hobbie ;), but if the ST is pushed further down the timeline (which I hope) he could be anyone we don't know of yet.
