well im happy the new villians in the prequels havent suxed darth maul was great and so is dooku the general looks promising expect alot of eu for this guy after the movie and before hopefulyl we will be in the next star wars game based on episode 3

I doubt this is how Lucasfilm wanted Grievous to be revealed. I wonder if this changes any plans that they may have been making.

I find it preposterous that they wouldn't have had total control over this. Pablo said only a day or two ago that information about Ep. III will be moving out via the EU (he also said that some already has and has been missed by fans).

HEY, for the record, I have said that GG SOUNDED corny, but I had faith in GL all along to bring us a cool villan, so I reserved jusdgement until we saw him. I think GL has come through.
By the way, cheers to FettForce. Maybe it wasnt an "xclusive insider pic", but he IS the one who posted the first seemingly reliable pic of GG.

Hmm, he looks downright ethereal in that pic. I hope that comes through in Ep III. Have him dispatch his foes with minimal effort, just a quick dodge and slash sort of job. He kind of glides around the place, taking his foes like a force of nature. Groovy!

Wow. It is supposed to come out on April 2004. The only plot synopsis I have found just mentions that it features a prominent Ep3 villain.

I guess we can just go look at the book on April at newsstands for the word Grievous.

But it certainly appears to be the General. It matches all spy reports, spy art, and even the publisher's comment about featuring an Ep3 villain.

Well, the Jango armor was spotted on the webcam last summer during production. Don't count it out.
