Actual pic of General Grievous?

I have to admit that even I, a Grievous naysayer, think that the look of the droid/person in question (Grievous or not) is quite cool.

 

If its real or not, its a kick-ass pic...I like the look, very scary. And now for my question: If this a real sneak pic of the good General, has there been response from LUCAS' camp on the discovery of this? Has anyone come forward from the OS or even from AMAZON and said that "this is, or is not the real deal"? I am debating FETTFORCE and his great find. I for one want to believe this is Grievous and I am 99% sure it is, but have we got any official word from anyone related to a LUCAS company since this pic came out?

Does the General Grievous picture match that Clone Wars cartoon poster that had all the main characters on it with one mysterious character who was suspected of being the General?

The follow on book is "Darth Vader is a Raider".

Amazon.com has removed the image of the cover. I'm guessin' LFL had a few harsh words to exchange with them.

 

LFL is a very powerful company. It seems the more I heard about the way they shut things down or have them removed. I'm reminded that we are blessed to get the spoilers we get.

 

If this guy really is the General, let whoever was the voice of Soundwave be his voice in Eppy 3. It works for me.

well, a voice actor from the transformers series of things (since about 1996),David Kaye apparently has signed on for some work on episode 3. (he played megatron if you care to know). maybe he's the general?

 

Nice to see Supershadow has added GG piture 3 days later after someone from here posted it & he also added the clone troopers almost a week after it was released here. Not bad for a guy who is suppose to be editing episode 3 & being best friends with Lucas *cough* BS.

That would be Frank Welker. He also did the voice of Megatron. Soundwave was his voice only processed through some sort of synthesizer or something.

I've been hoping for Frank Welker to do his voice for a few months now.

When first they posted the fact taht the tf guy might be the voice i was skeptical....and when they posted the pics i wasnt sure it would work...but now, putting two and two together, i think gg might actually be a great character.

 

I think that Lucas should do what Peter Jackson did with treebeard...have a current actor do the voice for grevious. Heck, if John Rhys Davies can do it, why not have JEJ do the voice for Grevious. He's a much better voice actor anyway. (I am kidding about JEJ doing the voice...that would ruin my childhood). I think it would be cool to have Mark Hamill do the voice since he is an extremely talented voice actor, has a lot of experience with the field, and has ties to the GFFA. There's no real shot...but it could be cool.

 

That LFL had Amazon to withdraw the picture now (yes, or 36 hours ago) was a little too late. They must know that it's all over the place now.

 

They do, but as a matter of policy LFL has to insist that they remove the image from the website and Amazon had better listen. Not to do so could lead to more early releases in the future, which could lead to lawsuits. Amazon doesn't want that.
