Actual pic of General Grievous?

Amazing how all this amazing technical stuff goes downhill and we see nothing close to it in Eps IV-VI. Way to keep it consistent, George. This character looks cool and all, but I just can't help, but feel a lot of the technology being so-non-existent in the later movies. Hopefully every resource is shown getting destroyed in Episode III. Kinda odd how there's no super-freaky droids in those OT movies.

I WANNA SEE BIKER SCOUTS AND STORMTROOPERS!!!!

 

we will see nearly stormtroopers. and droids will become less and less common throughout the movie. and grievous will kick ass.

I still think he looks kinda cheesy in the couple of pics that I have seen. I may be judging him prematurely, but I still don't even see the need for yet ANOTHER villian that adds NOTHING to the overall plot of the saga. Darth Maul was one thing, Jango was starting to stretch it, and this guy seems just way too much for me to take seriously. Yes, that's right. I take this imaginary galaxy seriously. That might be one of my many problems.

The cape and all looks cool but i dont know about his face. hopefully theyll improve the look of his face. other than that hell kick @$$

 

his face is what makes him look awesome. He will be BEASTLY with his four lightsabers!

youre right p know that I saw the icon that gs posted his face is cooler. probably it was the coloring of the other backround. the night one makes his face look cooler. sorry

 

it would look cooler if it had some lightning and a few red lightsabers in the backround.

 

Just wait until he speaks with his mechanical, synchronized-like voice. Wait until he takes that cape off. Wait until he gets down and dirty with the Jedi.

He'll become a revered villain with numerous Star Wars fans, ala Boba and Jabba from the OT, and Maul from the PT.

One of George's strengths is creating these iconic villains. They may be short-lived more often than not, but that doesn't matter when they're so freaking cool.

''not black or white but right or wrong'', was a good quote from the movie clear and present danger but that was from him letting troops be slaughtered, for a jedi to only see black or white would mean luke wouldnt of gotten pissed off from vader saying leah might turn to the dark side and he wouldnt of gotten the anger to defeat him, That would of been seen as wrong to the jedi order even though the end result was ''freedom for all''.Just like them not being able to love,that makes them more wooden and not sincere.

 

So just like that someone pops a couple lightsabers on top of a character you thought looked stupid and instantly you think he's the coolest thing in the world.

I personally agree that we need not be introduced to more characters that are merely eye candy and appear to have no key role in the story. Perhaps I will be wrong when I see the movie, but right now it just looks like they just keep adding more and more characters. I don't know how it's all gonna be connected by the end of EPIII.... All I can say is that it better be good. Right now LOTR is more highly regarded on my list of best trilogies ever. It took years since I was a tiny kid for that to ever happen. George has a lot to meet in my expectations. I've lost respect for his craft because it seems they guy is obsessed with DIGITAL everything. Because it's digital it means it's the best. Believe it or not, older techniques can and in most cases do fair better than some of the most high tech stuff out there. What happened to your creative crew who made all those amazing sets for the OT? And what happened to your directors who did a good job directing your ESB and ROTJ movie? Bring those guys back....

Sorry, everyone. I could just go on and on. I'm so saddened by this. I love the prequels, but the magic lies more in the OT for me. To me the prequels seem like more eye candy than a well told story.

His lightsabers come from dead Jedi, therefore, they would all have to be blue or green.

he looked pretty cool without the lightsabers i slapped on anyways.

and the colors arent 'pure' enough to look like good. the colors look cold, which i like.

i think he will look awesome on screen. i had a dream that i saw ep 3 and was in the universe and he was badass. grievous was in it. except he was good and had the power to control time.
