Actualización del Mod Squad - el 12 de Mayo de 2004

Hola! La semana pasada, había el cinco de mayo, pero el admin amarillo no quiso utilizarlo en la actualización del Mod Squad. Por eso, hoy celebramos este día tan importante con una actualización en español.

Venidas, Salidas, y Vacaciones

Katya_Jade y Darth_Dagsy regresaron a nuestro servicio. Bienvenidos de nuevo al Mod Squad.

jedi-mind-trick y Errant_Venture no nos han comunicado en mas que dos semanas. Entonces, ya no son moderadores, por razón de seguridad.

Grilled-Sarlacc y Mistress_Renata regresaron de sus vacaciones y viajes.

Ogros

Hablamos de los ogros en el 3SA. Si hay un ogro, escribe a un moderador por PM. Si no hay ningún moderador, escribe algo en Comms para decirnos.

La Moderación

Hablamos de los limites de la autoridad de cada moderador. Decidimos que todos podemos moderar las cosas básicas (palabras prohibidas, ataques personales, etc) en todos los foros. Si hay algo que no es básico, vamos a dejarlo para el moderador del foro. Si tenemos que hacer algo en otro foro, vamos a decir also en el Mod Squad para el moderador del foro.

We talked about trolls in 3SA. If you see a troll, contact a moderator by PM. If no moderators are available, post a note in Comms, and it will be dealt with as soon as possible.

We spoke about the limits on the authority of each moderator, specifically outside of their own forum(s). We decided that for basic offenses (such as profanity or personal attacks), any moderator will deal with them. Mor difficult cases will be left for the forum moderator. As each of us has to act in other forums, we will drop a note in the Mod Squad to alert the forum moderators.

Sorry about that. I haven;t had to write Spanish for so long that I couldn't remember if that one was irregular or not.

Anyways... I should learn to scoll down somedays. I was able to read most of the Spanish update... and towards the end a thought popped in my head - "Wow, I wish I could translate all this! My 2 yrs of spanish ain't cuttin' it."

mods are asked to change their passwords at least once a month, generally once every two weeks. some do it as often as once a week.

so if you haven't logged in for two weeks, that means you haven't changed your pw for two weeks.

Also, if a user is active with their user name, they're more likely to notice if someone else has been using it. If they're not logging on, they won't notice to say anything.

 

A mod who hasn't logged in, in two weeks can mean only one thing...invasion.
