    I know. Originally I thought Tim Rose did it, but he just did the actual body. The same actor is like I said.. 93 now.

    Voice was a bit low for the good admiral. Why didn't they amp up the volume a little? I mean, would that have hurt?

    I noticed it sounding a bit different, but it didn't bother me.

    I'd have liked if they added his odd wheezing noise like he had in ROTJ.

    I didn't even know it was Admiral Ackbar until I found out later. It's really weird that he appears to be in a low ranking position.

    Shatner was using his regular speaking voice, not putting on a gruff squidman voice. Also a counterargument is the fact that Nimoy's voice changed dramatically over the years. People are different.

    Total aside... but Nimoy has an absolutely awesome voice... esp in his later years. Such a great narrator

    He was rather dull and sounded old and tired. They probably should've gave him a scene leading a Resistance Frigate or Cruiser against the FO Star Destroyer and getting blown up.
