You know... You'd think there would be a thread about this before the event. Oh well... Better late than never.

OMG! What a great time we had!

    Mission Report
Arrival and set-up went smoothly. Nightmarez had his table set up between the Rebel Legion and the Chattooine table. Hopefully we'll have more pics up soon, but his table turned some heads with all the gory-looking props. That and the super-awesome zombie that walked around creeping everyone out. They also had a guy (that would have intimidated you w/o the mask) go around with a chain saw which was LOUD! The Ruby Falls haunt will be so much fun.

The Chattooine table was pretty darned good, I think. The picture Scarlet took shows what we had for it. The free candy cartoonzgirl brought was a big hit! There was only a few pieces left when I packed up the bowl (no, I didn't leave it there). Thanks everyone that did table duty. Orion Knight-Star brought his laptop, so we had a constantly running slideshow from our past events along with the Star Wars music (except during the parts of the Firefly marathin and Serenity release, in which it played the "Fruity Oaty Bar Song"). That turned the heads of the table next to us... the Southeastern Browncoats! Next to them was the Jedi Assembly, and then the Southern Outpost 501st table. The Stargate fan club was there as well.

Eelem had his Jedi costume (the Jedi Assembly wanted to talk to you, btw) and his son Tard debuted his custom Mandalorian (nice!). Orion Knight-Star got his Jedi belt which finished up his Jedi costume (to where he applied for membership into the Jedi Assembly and the Rebel Legion). Scarlet had the awesome Padme costume (in black with the black feather head-dress). [JW]Yoda's sons were dressed up as well (although I always forget who is who when it comes to thier screen names here). Yogi even showed up with his Umbrella Corp gear.

The dealer's room (which is where most of the event took place) was HUGE! I would say it rivals DragonCon for how much stuff it had. There were TONS of Star Wars stuff, too. Plus you had the Batmobie and the car from "Back to the Future" (which was way cool). I got to take part in the parade aorund the dealer's room which eventually led to where we had lot of pictures taken (one of which will eventually make it to a trading card). I didn't get any autographs this time (too broke), but some of our group did. Beside that, we had some other encounters with a few of them. I wasn't there for the Corey Feldman stuff, so I'll let someone else tell those stories. When Scarlet and I were outside the Cumberland Hotel and saw Adam Baldwin come out, we invited him to the "party room". He said he was heading over to the Hilton for a drink, but maybe he'd stop by later on. After the taxi turned around, he did ask which room it was in, so he at least thought about it. Felix Silla DID come up to room and hung out for awhile. He's very cool and although he played an Ewok, he seems to like hanging around the 501st guys.

Speaking of the party room, that thing started around 10:00 (I think) and lasted well into the next morning. A couple of guys from the 501st (Z-Man and the Jester) had a raffle going on where Chattooine did very well. BOOYAH! It must have been too much for LordJohn's brother, Daniel, however. I bet it was a rough night.

The next day was pretty cool as I got to escort Verne Troyer to his booth. I then had to help form a perimeter near the 501st table as Ray Park did a lightsaber demo. I ended up having a front row view to how awesome Ray Park is. He's also a very nice guy that went out of his way to do this. Anyway, he picked up a few lightsabers and tested the weight until he came across one he liked. He twirled it around and showed how you warm up for dueling. Rather than actual "duel", he had a guy from the Jedi Assembly come out and Ray walked him through some choreography. After that, Ray picked up another saber and started twirling TWO sabers! He then went through some moves with a couple of "jedi". He didn't just run through it a
