    Sorry, me again. :)

Anyone know if it is possible to get my hands on the AFI tribute to George Lucas that was broadcast a while back? It was on TV a few weeks ago again over here in UK but sadly missed it.

It was? Damn, I wanted to see that.
Are you still after quotes about Lucas? I think the programme includes some, I'll check later.

Yup, thats the reason I am wanting it. Need to fill up my dissertation with quotes about the legend. :)

Was on Sky Movies a few weeks back and only caught the final 5 minutes. I also found those Ridley Scott and Cameron quotes on the Empire of Dreams documentary.

    It was a great hour.

I enjoyed when Maroon 5 performed (at Lucas's kids' request)
and they showed the family photos. It was a very cool moment,
to see Lucas look so happy with his children.

I wish they would release it on DVD so I'd get a chance to see it.

Well I got up early at 6am to watch it and I have to admit it was a great little programme. Was great to see so many actors and directors turn up to appreciate him and loved the intro with Shatner.

Really liked Lucas' speech at the end "I'd like to thank Francis for teaching me how to write. When I started I couldn't write a word, now I am the master of wooden dialogue"

    LOL.

I saw it when it was first broadcast.

Really liked it, ESPECIALLY the intro by Shatner. I felt somewhat bad for him and Star Trek...

Don't feel bad for "The Shatner" he's won two back to back Emmys for Boston Legal.

Shatner looking at the Star Wars posters had me laughing.

Yeah, that was great. I loved the dancing stormtroopers. It was just so rediculous.[face_laugh]

Wow, if this ever comes out on DVD I REALLY want it. I saw it last May, but it was just awesome. My favorite parts were Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford coming onstage drunk as anything.

But all in all it was amazing.
