    Doh! I suggest you do some research first, but seeing as you might not filter it fast enough, basically Photoshop is for stills, and After Effects is for footage, except that if you're clever enough, you won't leave it at that ;)

    photoshop and after effects are different programs, it really depends on what you are doing. If you like adding effects to video get after effects. If you like editing still images, and creating textures for you models get photoshop

    Although, having Photoshop AND After Effects is a killer combo, as they both use PSD files, well... AE can understand them :D

    What we are SAYING is that you go to ADOBE.COM and read up on BOTH programs ...
    maybe even download the DEMOS of each and see which one you like the best . . . . m'kay?

    ... the demo wont let you save what you are doing.

    I would have to do all of the effects in a day if i use the demo

    Oh hell ill shoot it now then when school starts ill use the comps there. They have photoshop 6.0.

    Ummm The idea is you try the demo and then if you think it will work and you like it, you BUY the product.
