After Ep 3 George Lucas should be working on

I'd love to see what else George could bring to the table. He should do something new.

Something completely new, preferably outside the sci-fi/fantasy world.

 

His ability to direct, write a project with natural dialog. Please George, do it for the fans.

 

Something new that has nothing to do with anything he has done previously.

He created Indy,
Now lets see something similar in greatness but totally new.

The guy has a bountiful of creative ideas.

Now that he's almost finally finished with the SW saga, there could still be something exciting and unique left to discover during the Lucas dynasty.

 

I remember reading an article at some point where GL said he was interested in working on a film project that deals with the Roman Empire times. I would love to see that. With GL's vision it could be something truly spectacular.

I remember hearing something similar except it was a TV mini-series set during Roman times and told from the point of view of a slave, a soldier, a politician, etc and you would see how society differed for each of them.

...after that, he can do whatever the hell he wants.

 

I was hoping that he would have a big part to do with the SW T.V. show if they are going to do it....then i would enjoy him doing something totaly differnt. I would welcome any other SW stuff but i would like to see him direct something new.

Honestly after Ep 3 George Lucas should be working on his writing and directing skills. Hopefully he'll never direct another movie again for the rest of his life and fall back to the role of producer.

I think with Lucas producing and Spielburg direct, any film that they tackle will be unstoppable juggernaut but if the positions are reversed then you have a disaster waiting to happen!

He should first Produce and Direct a new Indiana Jones movie, then he should start directing some movies that are totally different from what he's done before!!

Well, he personally never actually worked on the first one, only let his company finance the production as a favour to a friend.

 

I wonder if he's ever gonna make "Red Tails" as he keeps threatning to? I'd love to see that

 

I wonder if Lucas is ever going to get around to that "small personal film" he is always talking about.
My own guess is that INDY 4 is next, although I am one of those who is a little skeptical that Lucas's skills as a writer are as good as then once were. I think both TPM and AOTC suffered from a lot of flaws in the script...TPM in particualr. AOTC was a lot better but those love scenes.....

 

I either want a new film that will be new and interesting to us like the Matrix was or maybe Lucas could branch out and try directing other genre's as Speilberg has. Maybe Lucas could make a war film?

 

I'd support sth new, but new also in terms of style and genre. I think I'd like to see him moving away from sci-fi/fantasy towards "ordinary/ modern" films, more like "American Graffiti". At least for a while.

 

He should do something completely new in my opnion.
