    AHHH. They're skipping ahead again.

I hope they go back and fill in the time frame before AotC as well. There are still many stories that need to be told.

Very cool...I wonder...did they mention the bi-monthly/quarterly Republic oriented series that's in the works as well?

I hope this doesn't mean no Clone Wars novels. I don't tend to buy the comics, but I think this'll bring me in.

    Wooooop!

I suspect that Spaarti clones will figure into the events they've mapped out somehow.

Edit: SensorCrunchy, there's already a Clone Wars novel (centering on Mace Windu) in the works by the author of Traitor (Matthew Stover) titled Shatterpoint that's due out next year.

Also, our favorite author Zahn has not one but two E2-E3 bridge novels in the works.

Echoing Wedge's sentiment, I also hope they go back in a year or so to the TPM<->AoTC era, as I want to see more of Dooku's activities as he sows dissent in the Republic. What the Sith did to cause the war is as interesting as the war itself I think :)

    So far there's:

It's gonna be interesting to see how they all tie together.

    - Clone Campaigns
    - The Clone Wars game
    - Shatterpoint
    - Boba Fett # 2: Crossfire
    - Republic series

Yeah. I sure hope we can see some tie-ins. Echuu Shen-Jon from Clone Campaigns would make a good cameo in a few issues.

Reaper, you mean like Marvel did? Like earlier ongoing has?

Ahhh, okay. Cool. This thread must've been buried a page or two back, and I didn't catch it.

    Good deal, then. :D

I just hope they develope a liitle more of the conspiracy behind the war with palpatine and the sith

This probably all depends upon what Lucas'll let them get away with, but STILL...

(its been on the front page since it was created, I think)

Yeah, I haven't even been thinking about the Sith. The last we saw them in Ongoing was Twilight (unless you count The Devaronian Version :p ) and I just forget about 'em. I'm too excited about the Jedi and all the new enemies John creates.

The others didn't have a war that hasn't been explained in them.

Yeah but Reaper, this is a completely different situation. We know LucasFilm

    A) is developing Episode III *right now*
    B) the Clone Wars end at the beginning of Episode III
    C) LucasFilm gave Dark Horse at least one strict guideline: No Padme appearances.

I think it's safe to say that there's as much chance for a contradiction between all these upcoming II-III bridge EU materials as there was before II came out and things like Rogue Planet were coming out. It'll be fine.
