Actually Hayden is older than Natalie, his birthday is April 19th and hers June 9th, both 1981.

And four years isn't that big a deal, I'm 25 and my boyfriend is 21. So what? The only reason this could possibly be an issue is because they first met as kids. But I can definitely name people who were friends in childhood who later on dated. The only difference here is Anakin already knows he's going to marry Padme at age 9. But he's the Chosen One and has this little habit of seeing glimpses of future events.
