Age of the characters in BOTH of the post NJO series?

Yea I was wondering what the characters age will be in the Dark Nest Trilogy and the other 9 book series?

Not all of them, just the main ones such as: Jaina, Jacen, Luke, Leia, Han, Mara and Kyp.

 

Jaina: 25
Jacen: 25
Luke: 52
Leia: 52
Han: 63
Mara: 50
(Not sure about Kyp- probably about 38 since he was a teenager in JAT.)

9-Book Series:
Jaina: 30
Jacen: 30
Luke: 57
Leia: 57
Han: 68
Mara: 55
Kyp: (43?)


Totally sucks that Jacen and Jaina are goign to be older than me. We've been the same age ever since the YJK and now thats going to be ruined.

Wow, Han is going to be almost 70 years old..IMO he's going to die in this series.

 

Maybe it's better that they're skipping some time. Wouldn't seem right if they had ANOTHER major crisis on their hands without a few years of rebuilding in between.

Still... it's gonna be weird with the Solo twins at that age... I know they're supposed be around 20 by the end of the NJO, but I keep seeing them as they were in Vector Prime, just like high schoolers...

Hm... I figured Mara would be at least the same age as Luke. I wonder how old Karrde's supposed to be.

 

And how many years are those books after TUF?

 

The thought of a mid-60s Solo blasting through another blocade is intoxicating.

 

Holy crap, even though I've known the timeframe for a long time I still can't imagine 30 year-old Solo twins and Han on Social Security.

Still...at least they are evolving and aging. If this were either DC or Marvel, everything from ANH on would be crammed into a 10-20 years ago time period.

It's going to take more then senior age to take down Captain Solo.

 

As a comparison: In the first series, the Solo twins are older than their grandfather was when he became Darth Vader!

In the second series: They're approaching Kenobi's age when he'd been training their grandfather for five years.

 

Man, those are some old folks!

Well, at least the post-NJO universe recognizes that not *all* old people lose their ability to get involved. I'm certainly surprised at Mara's age - I actually thought her at least a year or two older than her husband.

Hmmm...though the continued activity of these old-timers makes me wonder if being Force-strong has any effect on aging. It surprises me a bit that characters in a universe as technologically advanced as the SW one age at the same rate as humans on Earth. I would think medical advancements would at least let them live past 100 as a norm. Since we saw a 300 year old woman in COPL, I'm wondering if the post-NJO series picks up on the idea that Force sensitives spirits keep their bodies running better and longer than most.

Ditto. I was 14 when J&J were 14 in YJK. It'll be ok for Dark Nest, since I'll be 25 in June, but they'll pass me for the 9-book series
