Ages?

I was wondering if anyone knows everyones(of some of them) ages at the end of the Young Jedi Knights series. About 24 years after A New Hope.

Zekk: 17
Raynar: 15
Lowbacca: 20
Tenel Ka: 14

I thought that TK was a year older than the twins? Oh well...

This confirms the odd feeling I had when it stated that Zekk was younger than Jaina in Betrayal.

 

I'm not sure how this works with long lived species, but doesn't 20 seem pretty young for a Wookiee? Would a Wookiee or one of Yoda's species have a pretty normal lengthed childhood and just a reallly long adulthood or would it take 100 years for one of Yoda's species to reach adolescence?

I kinda wish they'd tell you how old everyone was in the little cast list at the beginning of books... I'm too stupid and lazy to figure it all up on my own... Anybody keeping a running count of ages at the point of Betrayl?

 

Actually, I think Tenel Ka is the same age as the twins. And I'm not sure, but they might have been 16 at the end of YJK.

Oh well, I guess we can only guess at ages since they seem to change all the time, anyway.

 

I thought that Jacen was 15 in Vector Prime if not 15 then definitely no older than 16

As for Tenel Ka, i'm pretty certain she was the same age as J and J.

And yeah... That annoyed me in Betrayal too, as I remember Jaina being drawn towards Zekk because he was a couple of years older.

 

For my list, I was just going by the date of birth given for each of the characters at wookieepedia and the date given for the end of the series.

 

The Betrayal slip was an editorial oversight, incidentally-- Allston knew how old Zekk was in relation to Jaina.

Jacen is said to be 16 years old in Vector Prime.

 

I assure you we strive to be as accurate as possible.

 

Indeed, I'd go as far as to say it's THE most accurate Star Wars encyclopedia, more so than even the Databank. And it's closely monitored by the wookiepedians, we don't let anything remotley wrong happen with the articles.

 

I think Jacen and Jaina were about to turn 16 in Vector Prime, but were still 15. They were definately 16 by Dark Tide...

 

The whole NJO timeline confuses the heck out of me, which annoys me a lot because I like to pair people up in fanfics and I hate not knowing exactly who's of age to 'ship and who isn't. I like to know down to the month when each book starts, because I'm a numbers person and that kind of thing helps me keep track of events a LOT better than "this happened then this happened then this happened," and I want to know when Jacen turns 18 so I can shamelessly 'ship him with people out of his age range.



I thought the twins were 16 at the start of Vector Prime, or at least turned 16 during the story. *agrees with BobaMatt but can't remember where it was stated, just thinks that it was at some point*

I think Anakin was 14 in Vector Prime, so I think that Jacen and Jaina were 16....I thought they were pretty much two years apart.

Okay, you're right, Jacen and Jaina are 16 in Vector Prime, but Anakin was already 15 (see top of page 61 in paperback version).


I think they were actually one and a half years apart, so it works...

 

Huh. I had always thought (based on nothing but my own mind) that Jacen and Jaina were in the neighborhood of 18 by Vector Prime. I learn something new here everyday!

 

Jaina and Jacen - Born in the Thrawn trilogy 8 ABY

Vector Prime - 25 ABY

So, depending on the month they would be 16 or 17
