    LOL!

I'm kind of bummed though. It doesn't cover as much as I hoped it would. I guess the real juicy stuff is in Ep III.

    ack - don't read Salvatores piece of $#!^ !

disclaimer: Although i have not personally read any of his work I hear it is still popular to 'slag off' , for want of a better phrase, the 'EU' and therefore, I do. :)

Frankly, I thought Vector Prime was pretty poorly written.

Apart from the Chewbacca bit on Zernpidal, I thought it was a good book. The worst so far is Elaine Cunningham's Dark Journey, closely followed by the Agents of Chaos duology.

Salvatore is a fantastic writer. I have a signed Vector Prime!!!

His non SW books are fab.

Some people are just too darn blinkered.

And with that...I is off to the first meeting of the day!

I think The crystal Star is by far the worst.

I will read the novel but not yet. I know all the spoilers so it's not cos of that. It's just, well, I want to see it on screen first. I'm very particular about that. Just like I HAD to read LOTR before I saw the movie. Just the other way round.

I was only talking about NJO... Crystal Star is bad. So is most of the EU, I've decided. After re-reading them, I can't believe I even enjoyed them first time round. Jedi Academy trilogy by Anderson is poop in particular. The only one I really liked was I, Jedi by Mike Stackpole.

I liked the Jedi academy trilogy first time around. And the Zahn trilogy. But there were others that were just bad. I guess I really stopped reading cause they were making movies and I wasn't starved of Start Wars anymore. I Jedi looks good. But I had to stop buying eventually cause I got them all in Hardback and it was getting expensive.

I've disliked just about every star wars book I've every read - but I keep reading them to get my fix.

bought AOTC yesterday and have quite enjoyed the first 3 or four chapters (but that could well be the SW endorphin rush)

Also bought the illustrated guide and more importantly a Jango Fett Figure - the shop assistant at Argos seemed to be implying that I was a geek - I don't see it myself

    Corran's wife is kidnapped.

He has to embrace the ways of the Force to try and trace her.

He spends a bit of time at the Jedi Academy. In fact, its parallel to the Jedi Academy books...and far better in my opinion.

Quite kick ass...theres a fab bit with Luke - Corran's getting his ass kicked in this lane and he hears the snap-hiss at the end of the lane and its Luke...verra dramatic...

It's also written in the first person perspective, which is fairly novel for Star Wars
