    While reading Refugee, I noticed something in the Chiss library.

    Saba and Danni find a Zonama Sekot story that involves the planet wandering into a system where on the one inhabited planet, the two main countries were involved in a "space race" that was prompted by the arrival of Zonama Sekot!

    (I don't have the book with me, so I can't quote it directly, but it's definitely in there!)

    This is an obvious reference to the Cold War and the Space Race between the US and USSR!

    HAHA!

    I just had to smile at that one....so that GFFA really isn't as far away as some would believe!

    Thanks for making my day, Mr. Williams and Mr. Dix! :D

    so that GFFA really isn't as far away as some would believe!

    Um, that doesnt make sense.

    BTW, when was the US and the USSR in a space race to get to a mysterious planet? Just curious. ;)

    You think the CIA and the Kremlin would actually disclose that info?

    I bet you a Chiss probe is parked over at Area 51... 8-}

    You can imagine it now: Luke lands and wonders just *how* everybody knows he blew up the Death Star; and Jacen and Jaina feel very left out that a lot less people have even heard of THEM! 8-}

    Just a little tidbit, just to show how the GFFA would view our world. So I guess our two governments spotted Zanoma Sekot, and the race wasn't to get to the moon but to get to Zanoma Sekot, but it left, but George Lucas met Luke and told him the whole story, starting Star Wars! But really, you know its not real since its a galaxy FAR FAR AWAY, a LONG TIME AGO.

    that would explain why they don't plan to go anywhere with the stories after the NJO........hm.... that just might have some truth to it....... Lucas probably just keeps in touch with Luke by holocomm, and so that's how we'll know how it all turns out

    didn't following that statement, Danni say something about how after Zonama Sekot left that world, the planet went through some massive revolution?

    There was also a planet in Rebellion that was supposedly like prehistoric earth (forget the name of the unified continent), with dinos and such.

    No, Lee. The space race was to get to our moon. In the Chiss library, it said that the space race was to get to another planet. Sorry.

    Yeah, the Moon is Zonoma Sekot. ;) Before, when people saw the moon in the sky, it was the Jedi master's using the Force on our Pathetically weak minds to project the image of the moon into our heads. When Zonoma Sekot arrived, they didn't need to use the Force anymore.

    Doesn't everybody know that? :p

    That's the beauty of Government conspiracies!

    See, they were really shooting for Zanoma Sekot.

    Of course, since nobody in the world knew about Zanoma Sekot, aside from those few people, President Kennedy announced that it was a shot at the moon.
    That made sense, of course, since the moon was there. EVERYBODY knew about the moon.

    But by the time NASA was ready to take the last step to land on Sekot, it had disappeared.

    So NASA changed its goal and, since preparations were already underway, they simply said "Hey, let's just go to the moon."

    So the moon mission was just a "successful failure".

    We sucessfully landed on the moon, but we missed our true objective of Zanoma Sekot.

    ;)

    the planet went through some massive revolution?

    Fall of Soviet Communism, perhaps? 8-}

    UNless the Revolution in mention is the entire 1960s....

    Sexual revolution, Vietnam war protests, Woodstock.
    EDIT -- PLUS the British Invasion of America.
    (Mick Jagger = The-Rocker-Who-Was-Shaped.
    How else do you explain his mouth?)

    Good times.

    Peace out.

    Guys, the moon is OBVIOUSLY zonoma sekot. Why do you think people in the GFFA have had such a hard time locating it?

    I thought everybody knew that...

    This explains Hitler!

    He was really a Yuuzhan Vong in disguise! :eek:

    :p

    I haven't read Refugee yet, but I was compelled to click the link. :D It's fun to speculate, though, hehe.

    Wow that was a post killer.

    With all due respect, yes, it was a dumb comment, but I laughed at it. Its American culture to make fun of things that haunt or hurt us. We've done it with almost everyone and anything that has effected us. Just as I respect the fact that you are sensitive to such a comment, I hope that you respect the fact that sometimes humor helps people heal.

    umm... That is interesting. Extremly impossible, but interesting non the less. But isn't the EU in a galaxy? and you can't have a galaxy in a galaxy. Earth is in the Milky Way, which is a galaxy itself.

    *Pay no attentian to me, I'm just babbling*
