I would have voted for McClintock, even though most people also would have but thought he had no chance and went for Arnold just ot Bustamante wouldn't get elected. I wouldn't have given up hope that easily.

You're half right at least. Cruz is still the Lt. Governor. What does this mean? Not much. Him and Davis didn't talk while Davis was in office, so it's unlikely he'll speak to Arnold either. And as long as Arnold doesn't die, we'll be fine.
