ST Ahsoka in EP8?

Obi is Leia's only hope because she happens to be getting boarded right next to Tatooine and she doesn't have a lot of options. She didn't go to him for help because he's a jedi. She sent R2 to him because was close by and an ally that her father trusts.

And even if she was looking for a jedi, Ahsoka, Kanan and Ezra aren't jedi. No one ever said there stopped being force sensitive people between Order 66 and Luke's story.

 

Ahsoka is one of 4 canon characters that did not appear in a live-action movie (Bane was introduced in the novelization of The Phantom Menace) that has their own wikipedia article (the other two are Ventress and Cad Bane), so she is famous enough and did appear in the film for The Clone Wars, so it is not out of the question that she could show up. I would be okay with it.

Honestly, Ahsoka has quickly become one of my favorite characters in the Saga so I would love for her to receive some screen time in the Sequels (depending on her official status as of the end of Rebels Season 2). It would provide great insight for Luke on what worked and didn't work with the old Jedi Order and she was an experienced hand (and quite a powerful force wielder if the end of Rebels season 2 is to be believed). Plus, she was Anakin's padawan.

I see nothing but positives for her potential inclusion in the ST.

Actually, not really. She's approximately 15 years older than Luke so it's not outside the realm of possibility.

 

I would like to see one or at least two characters from Rebels in Rogue One, even just a small cameo would be cool, just one small scene in the background somewhere.

 

Maybe they could make togrutas a longer lived species (not Wookiee level, but longer lived), and plus she is a former Jedi.

According to wookiepedia, the canon version of Count Dooku was 83 at death and seemed to move around quite well.

 

Unless they hired Laura Dern to play Ahsoka in her 70's, which would be a waste of her talents IMHO, I don't see it happening.

If we see anything of Ahsoka, it'll probably he her skull mounted on Snoke's wall.

 

Animated series to live-action no... Live-action to animated series.. Yes!

 

I think if she will ever appear it will be in one of the Anthology films. That being said, I don't think they need to. She works great in the animated series. Love her in Rebels, season 2 finale was EPIC!!!

 

Let her die in Rebels by Vader's hand. The irony of that sets up Vader and Obi-Wan down the road too.
