Ahsoka, what Padmes character should have been

With all the talk about the Ahsoka/Vader/Anakin and how well the relationship was written (though the voice actors chemistry helped too) I couldn't help but wonder if the actual character of Ahsoka (not saying Ahsoka herself) is what Padme should have been ? I dunno but my first thoughts of Mrs Vader when hearing about her was more geared to that type of character than what we got.
Wonder if anyone agrees with me on that ?
