DFW, TX AICN Script Review of AOTC

Two versions...relatively spoiler-free and in-depth spoilers from Moriarty of AICN.




Pardon me while I geek out for the next few hours

 

I went to the local comic book shop today and I saw a letter from TOPPS addressed to the Owner...it was laying with the Star Wars stuff and it was open.

It said that he took a trip up to Skywalker Ranch and talked about the new Topps merchandise

So I took a quick peek at it and I saw these two official things:

Jar Jar will only have a few brief scenes

NSYNC has been cut out

 

And these are the very least of the details about AOTC...

 

I think that letter verified the first line in your sig Nabooty

I have always trusted Moriartys reviews. I don't always agree with Harry or the others, but I have yet to disagree with Moriarty.

Between that and the movie on sabres from Starwars.com, today is pretty slaggin' cool!

I just REALLY hope that Sam Jackson gets his purple sabre!!

WooHoo!!!! I saw that the figure was getting one, but I couldn't really take that as definite. But two seperate sources, and this looks like a finished item.

Is is just me.. Look at Mace's sabre at the hilt where the blade meets the handle.
It looks like the handle has a spikey bit that is coming up the blade. Like the sabres in the Tales of the Jedi sabres. And like my sabre.

Nope, no spikey bits. You can see his new lightsaber handle (and it is definitely the pimped-out Cadillac of lightsaber handles) in the new Vanity Fair photo spread featuring Episode II.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that his lightsaber handle is the coolest one yet. MUCH better than the one he was wearing in Episode II. Nice gold highlights and the thing just looks expensive.

And it's purple.

UPDATE: TFN just posted a link to Entertainment Weekly that has a pic from the new trailer coming out in a few days that features Sam with his lightsaber in action.

 

I'll have to see if that magazine is still on the stands up here.

Yeah.. I was trying to remain spoiler-free.. hard to do.. LOL!!! I haven't read them *all* thankfully, but I did read one I really didn't want to know...

Ah well.. I'm sure the minute the lights go out and the LFL logo goes up I'll forget everything I've read and be a little kid in a theater seeing my favorite movie again

 

I was filled with spoilers during TPM but as the Star Wars logo came up...I forgot everything. Most of it was bogus rumors though...like Mandalores destroying Mos Espa
