    When Vader threw his lightsaber at Luke in the throne room fight, do you think he meant to hit him or just knock down the support he was standing on?

    I always thought that he meant to hit him, but missed.

    Vader is a very complicated character, especially by ROTJ, so it's difficult to define some of his actions towards Luke.
