South East Albany, GA anyone?

Anyone here from Albany, GA or from the surrounding area?

I was thinking of starting or getting involved with a Fan Force group here in southern GA. I know we have the Macon Clones, but Macon is far for me to drive. I also work on a horse farm, so even when I am off I am still bound to take care of 20+ horses.

Finally, someone from south Georgia! I live just south of Cairo in Grady Cty..I would love to see something get started. Albany is only a 45 min drive from where I am (in fact, I was just there last weekend).

I thought I was the only SW fan in this area! I'd love to be able to get a group together. I'm in Albany quite a lot going to Jo-Ann's looking for fabric for costumes. (I'm a member of Rebel Legion and an honorary member of the GA 501st.) If anyone is interested in costuming and needs help getting started just let me know. I'm also a staff member for the Matters of the Force track at Dragon Con in Atlanta, so if anyone has any questions about that, just ask.

BTW, I'm organizing a visit by the Tallahassee chapter of the 501st to the TRU in Valdosta on 7/16. If anyone is interested in coming over and having fun with other SW fan(atics), just let me know.
