Alderaan

What happened to Leia's ship The Alderaan. Did it get destroyed or have they just forgotten about it.

It existed for the events of the New Rebellion, then disappeared off the map.

 

Much as I dislike having to resort to placing such things in limbo, there's really nowhere else it could be right now. It wasn't in any other works that I read, chronologically after the New Rebellion.

 

It belongs in a museum.

Adding salt to sore, nothing is known on it: not it's manufacturer or class, size or specs. Such things, in the two books it was used in, only takes a paragraph.

You know, to enrich and provide more detail to something . . .

 

She's in limbo, and I wish she wasn't. She was a cool ship, and I would really like to see it in the upcoming NEGTVV. Unfortunately, this is probably not going to happen.

It would be ironic if the ship was destroyed by a large laserblast, while leia watched.

 

It was in New Rebellion? I only remember seeing it in tCS. What other books did it show up in?

 

It was just in those two books.

 

Leia probably lost it to Lando in a game of Sabacc.

 

...then won it back, and lost it again, and then won it back, but gave it away to impress Isolder.

 

LOL.

Anyway, the ship only does appear in TCS and TNR. Then it vanished, and we didn't even see it again. Or hear of Leia so called "Child nickname" of "Lelila" (ridiculous name if you ask me).

 

Carrie would have suited her better, but I guess that's too fishy.
