I'm nearing the end of the game. I've just rescued three marines and we're held up in the transport 'room' for lack of a better word and the xeno's just keep coming.

OMG bitch was attacking us! We're off planet now. But that quadruped alien thing was so hard lol. Would have been fine without the normal xeno's attacking. I really like this game though, don't get all the hate.

I guess some people have just high standards...
I won't spoil the ending, but I quite liked it.

Is the alien a.i better on high difficulty settings? Just curious, because I plan to buy the game in the next weeks.

I do not know. I never play a game on the most difficult level.

Do you take a time of leave in between you play the game on normal difficulty and when you play the game on high difficluty settings?
Otherwise, I think playing a game twice would be boring...

I beat the first mission the first day I bought it then beat the whole game in 1 sitting afterwords. I really enjoyed the game, I'm a huge aliens fan however this was a very poorly made game with a ton of bugs and just overall bad AI, but never the less I still enjoyed the game.

Sometimes I do, but if I enjoy a game enough to immediately play it again on a higher difficulty setting, then it isn't boring. I guess we differ on what is boring, because I never bother to finish a boring game. Most games that I own, I have beaten at least twice, not counting my new games.

Still working my way through the first level, but I'm enjoying the game since they released software updates that fix a lot of the bugs and a.i. problems.

No not yet. I'm on the level where I have no weapons and I have to duck the big alien until I get my equipment back.

After a six month break, I'm about to continue my Aliens experience where I left off. Too bad I decided to stop on the level where I have no weapons and being hunted by a giant pissed off Xeno.
