I think it looks awesome. Better than some designs id seen.

And they have said there will be no cgi aliens in this, and they are alony using 12 suits.


My hope are getting higher.

I'm not completely sold on that design, but maybe it looks more convincing when you see it in action.

Absolutely unnecessary. If these guys wanted to stray away from the first AVP, they probably shouldn't have used ideas spawned from it.

I had been, in a way, defending this flick, but this...this is just silly.

Love the Bob Marley jokes though, peeps. That could be the only thing that saves this thread.

Here's what I don't get...

The thing is a hybrid with the Predator species...fine.

Then why, after the mandibles and dreads, is the closest relating feature a forehead...THAT LOOKS LIKE A PREDATOR facemask?

It's like someone in the art studio forgot that the predator mask isn't genetic.

 

I like the concept and I think the design fits the idea well, it's got a good blend of both species.

 

Which means the movie is really {Predalien vs. Predator)

we don't get the classic xeno in this, do we?

I think it would be much more exotic if the Predalien was surrounded by other aliens...you'd not the difference and similarity...as you will with the Predator.

Lost chance, I guess.

We've definitely seen classic xenos, yes. The way they're talking about "the Predalien," I wonder if there might only be one, and all the others are xenomorphs.

If I had to guess I'd say theres probably only two or three Predaliens at most, with the rest all classic design. I like the face of the face of the Predalien, its the Predator tendrils at the back I'm not sure about, makes the head look to busy for want of a better word.

 

The more I read about this film, the more MST3K worthy it looks.

 

Anybody else notice the dreads look like Xeno tails.?.That's kinda cool. I guess I can appreciate the details...

The posters look cool, but why is it "Aliens vs. Predator?"

 

Great videos!!! This is looking better than I thought it would be. very dark, without the obvious cheese factor of the alst one. Plus it explains why the Aliens got free, seeing the face hugger jar broken open after the crash.

Alien poster looks somewhat pedestrian.

The Pred poster is sharp...though the helmet made me think "Klingon" for second with the horned ring.

I am gonna count on honest reviews from people on here when it comes out. Remember to ask yourselves..."is this worth the 7-10 bucks I paid to get in?"...and of course after the obvious "nothing is worth that" goes through your head, try to be honest in relation.
