Words cannot explain how excited I am after watching Legacy of Mandalore. 1 Honor point to all declared mando'ade to celebrate.

 

So here's a rough translation from Legacy of Mandalore.

The Great Sith war coincided with the first time Mandalorians played a major role on a galactic scale.

Following the invasion of Tetan space led by Mandalore the Indomitable, our leader dueled the Krath Commander, Ulic Qel-Droma for domination. After being bested by the fallen Jedi, Mandalore swore allegiance to Qel-Droma. During the war, and in particular the assault on Coruscant, Qel-Droma was captured by the Republic forces. Remembering his oath to the Sith Lord, Mand'alor enlisted the help of another fallen Jedi named Exar Kun to help rescue Ulic from the Republic. The rescue was successful, and Mandalore was rewarded with a campaign against the Beast-Riders of Onderon. It was during this advance that Mandalore failed, despite having initial success. He retreated to Onderon's moon, Dxun, where he was slain by the native beasts there.


One of the most noteable weapons used during this time was the Basilisk War Droid. Following our conquest of Basilisk in 4017 BBY, we Mandalorians employed the bes'uliik during raids and conquest.


Overall, the Mandalorians elevated war to be god-like. While we still hold to war as means to gain honor, it does not define a Mandalorian in their place among our people. However, it was exceptional how deep Mand'alor kept his fealty and oath sworn to Ulic Qel-Droma. He could have easily dismissed him as weak, but instead restored him and followed him to the end. This was honorable.

Yeah, i knew this would happen. By next season they'll undoubtedly be destroyed/absorbed by house Vizsla.

 

If nothing else I kinda wish Garr Saxon survived past season 3 but I had an feeling he wouldn't last long.

At the same time I did like how much Mandalorian lore we got out of this show. I honestly didn't think Rebels would have much to do with the Mandalorians, even with Sabine.

 

We might get a comic or something? If they ever show Sabine's backstory they could get into the politics and such on Mandalore where the Imperial Academy Sabine attended is.

 

That would be very good, if they do I will be sure to watch/read whatever it is.
