I'm not clever enough to come up with a new title :p

'Tis the season. So, what books and comics are on your wishlists?

Since I have a ton of SF&F books that I've bought but haven't read, FOTJ: Vortex is the only book on my list.

A memory of light is on my wishlist. I'm keeping my fingers crossed since mom got me Gathering Storm last year.

Amazon UK GC, actually. That way I can spread the fun over the entire year (in theory, anyway. SW hardcovers usually account for most of my GCs).

Mistborn Trilogy and the Complete Works of William Shakespeare (big surprise there :p ).

And then some Canadian lit that was shortlisted for the Giller Prize this year. And a couple of plays (mostly Samuel Beckett stuff).

Hey, I like self-explanatory titles. They don't make me think. :p

    Hmmm...let's see...

Neil Gaiman's Sandman comics, and The Wonderful and Surprising History of Sweeney Todd, by Robert L. Mack. That about covers it.

I've got enough SF/F books (and other books, too) on my backlog that I really don't need any, nor are there any new ones that I particularly want, at least right now. Although, it would be nice to get a gift certificate to the used book store that I've been using recently.

Well, it won't be out for Christmas, but the coming Batman Beyond comic series that starts next month is definitely up there.

The sequel to Fever Dream by Child & Preston.

Book 4 of the Caine series by Stover.

That's really all I can think of for now :p

I have a lot of books on my list, but I didn't ask for them (I wanted something else from my parents) so I bought myself a couple Trudi Canavan books :D

I only got one book for Christmas, which was mildly disappointing, but the one book I did get was so bloody amazing (The Penelopiad, by Margaret Atwood) it more than made up for my lack of holiday reading material. :D

... still searching for the last two Mistborn books. I think I need to order them from Amazon. [face_laugh]
