the official sites blog did a live blog of the chiang/mccaig panel. all that seemed to be mentioned about Ep7 was that it's been McCaigs favourite thing he's worked on but he couldn't say any more than that due to a "restraining bolt"

 

That's a bummer, but thanks for the update. Didn't the official site say something about CE2 bringing our first look at E7 concept art? Maybe at the KK panel or the individual artist panels after KK...

 

Like hearing 'hey, I saw your birthday present and it looks awesome!' - I'm going to be fairly spoiled rotten because I have as much self control as a 5 year old in a candy shop, but I LOVE being teased!!!

 

Where and when can we find videos on the panels? Has anyone checked out YouTube?

I'm thankful that GL lined this all up in advance before the sale, because if he hadn't we very well may have had to wait another whole year for EVII to come out. I'm thankful for that!

Also, I wish Disney/Lucasfilm would just flat say that D23 is where all the SW announcements/major news will come out. I know they want to keep SDCC and CEII interesting, but it would be nice for the millions of fans that are not going to these events to expect news in August, instead of waiting for each of these events to occur and then.. bust. Sorry. Nothing for you. Stay tuned.

So did they announce the OT3 returning or do they still think they are being mysterious on their return *in ghost voice* "OOOOOOH You dont know if they are returning! Are they? Are they not? We're soo secretive with our mystery box!" (little JJ Abrams joke there). Oh Disney is soo adorable with their prolonging announcement of the inevitable. Well I guess unless we get that "casting announcement" tommorow then I can say I was right about not trusting random people on twitter who claim to know when stuff will be announced.

 

No, not yet. I am following the twitter of some guys who are there. I guess something might come up after the ROTJ screening.

If nothing gets announced at CE, let's just happily wait for D23.

Ian McDiarmind says we'll get casting info on Ep VII soon and it will involve some surprises.
TCW used some plots from the real series.
Some TCW stuff (probably plots) will be used in future projects.
No bonus episodes in the season 5 box of TCW
One bonus episode will deal with Ahsoka

Why would McDiarmid know anything about the casting process? I'm confused as to how he would be so plugged in. Is he involved in this project somehow?

 

I have no idea.

I only relay what the members of a very reliable german fansite (whose members are at the CE) post on twitter.

 

I was just curious as to how he knows. He must know something, I doubt he would just say stuff like that for no reason. I don't mean to imply that.

Real series as in 'not animated'. The series that was supposed to have lots of finished scripts but till this say hasn't been filmed yet.
