All-Ohio Fanforce Cookout - Columbus Aug 2nd

You know what might be fun? Going to an Akron Aeros game. Tickets are cheap and there are plenty of dates available to go.

 

I like that idea...we've got plenty of time in late June and July to work with. When should we go?

 

Their website. They have all kinds of give-aways and stuff. I'm sure finding something fun won't be a problem.

 

I like the Aeros game idea... they have Dippin Dot's Ice Cream of the Future at their ballpark...

I also thought we might want to have a car wash to "do some good" we could charge like $5 a car, then donate the money to charity... it would be another reason to meet, do some good, and we could also simultaneously get our name out there. Yeah, it's cliché, but it kills 3 birds with one stone.

 

Dippin Dots? Is that the only reason why you want to go?

I'm up for an Areos game.

Well, if we do a car wash, I don't think that we could charge for it, we'd probably have to take donations. And we'd probably have to get permission or something too.


I asked about the pool, and the reason we don't have it open yet is because it hasn't been that warm lately. Now since it is going to be warmer, we should start working on the pool more.

 

I don't think if we go to the Aeros game I want to come...I am guessing it isn't hockey so I'll pass.

I don't know about the car wash idea. A lot of charities and such have gotten out of doing that due to the liability involved.

Going to an Aeros game sounds like fun, and it's not a Cleveland team...so you might enjoy yourself my padawan.
EDIT: Looking at their schedule...many of the weekend games are when we've already got events (and July 19-20 I'm at a wedding) Do we want to think about WEEKDAY EVENING games?

Car Wash...I don't know about legal issues, but it wouldn't be the 1st time a Fanforce did this. Too bad we don't have some "hot cheerleader" types to draw in a crowd I'm still up for trying if you guys want to?

 

We could go when they have fireworks. That is always fun.

But yeah, tickets are cheep... I just wish that I had a parking pass so I wouldn't have to pay for parking.

EDIT: Oh! And I found out that I have a wedding to go to on Aug. 2nd, so I won't be accompanying you all to Cow Town.

 

I didn't think that the Children's Hospital parking was closer then the Polsky Deck. You can see the stadium from there. Or maybe it is, I don't remember... it's been so long since I was over in that area!
