Yeah, that one's more confusing than it should be. Plus, even if people understand that the lightsaber is being reassembled, no one wants to show up to a SW movie about a factory.

It is a time of alienation for the Jedi, whose Force powers are being exploited for cheap labor.

Their lightsaber, once a symbol of individuality and empowerment, is now just a disposable commodity, produced cheaply for the masses.

That's pretty fun. But who is the ghastly dog-faced Jedi?

 

Is it supposed to be some weird, really messed up offspring of Leia and Chewie?

 

I think that's suppose to be Chewie's offspring, they are saying it was trained as a Jedi too, lol.

I really like this but it wouldn't quite work to have the main Star Wars theme play for the logo then immediately have the main theme again for the title crawl. The Force Theme would be more appropriate I believe.

 

Yeah the more I listened the more I started to think it was a bit off. But I love the idea of mixing a starwars theme with the disney theme.

Like imperial march, or like you said.. The force theme.

Interesting - I'd say its biggest flaw is its length - at 36 seconds and featuring only the Disney logo, it's already twice as long as the 20th Century Fox Fanfare (18 seconds of music) that encompassed both the 20CF and Lucasfilm logos in all previous films. Yes, I expect Disney to get its name in there right at the beginning, but I don't expect them to go overboard and all of a sudden double the length of the logo introductions.

 

Honestly I have a feeling it will just be the LucasFilm logo and nothing else.

 

I think it will be the disney logo and Lucasfilm logo set a new piece of music created by John Williams. I'm actually willing to bet $50 on this. Any takers? (PM me)
